On Friday, November 18, HSCRC and CMMI hosted a webinar to discuss Maryland’s Total Cost of Care Model in the context of CMMI’s national priorities, including health equity. Representatives from Maryland presented on behavioral health, primary care, population health, and other topics.

Model Progression Stakeholder Engagement

HSCRC and other State staff are planning stakeholder engagement meetings to contribute content towards a progression plan for the expansion of the Total Cost of Care Model (or a new Model) beyond 2026. A series of small group meetings will be held on priority topics through April 2023. After this period, the plan will be presented to the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) in late 2023 ahead of the negotiation process on the future of the Model.
