Consumer Engagement on Patient Experience and Health Care Access Workgroup

The Workgroup on Consumer Engagement on Patient Experience and Health Care Access will provide consumer input to HSCRC on Maryland’s Total Cost of Care Model Agreement with the Federal Government. This Model determines how non-profit hospitals in the State are paid (including payment structures designed to improve patient outcomes), supports new payment models for other health care providers (including primary care and specialist physicians), and organizes statewide efforts in three population health areas (diabetes, opioid overdoses, and maternal and child health).

Workgroup meetings will be scheduled over the coming months, with the first occurring on January 13 at 1:00pm. Relevant materials will be posted below as they become available.
